I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who attended our first user conference for making it such a success.  As promised we will be posting the presentations early next week and will be sure to let everyone know where they can be found.  There were several requests to publish an attendee list and while we would encourage everyone to take this opportunity to establish their account on the community portal and begin to help us to develop this resource, we will certainly make the attendee list available seperately.

I also wanted to thank the good folks from Impact 21 Group, Lisa, Patti, and Pete, who I think did an outstanding job providing valueable content and assistance with the overall coordination of the event.

And while they will never read this, I wanted to also recognize the staff from the hotel who just blew me away with a level of customer service that i simple have NEVER seen before.  Especially Louree who will most definately be the principal subject of the letter I intend to write to her supervisors.  Just imagine if you could find an associate like that for each of your stores!

There were two really big take away's from the meeting from my perspective in relation to my personal goal for the conference which was identifying areas where we as a company can improve.

  1. Communication
  2. User Education & Training

I am committed to improving in these areas and i need your help to determine the most effective way to deliver on that promise.  There will be some experimenting with the website, ticketing system, blogs, surveys, and any other communcation vectors that make sense so please provide feedabck.  Let me know what you feel works, as well as what you feel isn't working.
